Gio Cup Ticketing
Pricing & Eligibility
Single-day tickets and full tournament passes are available for purchase online, with separate adult and student (Grades K–12) pricing. Valid student ID may be required at entry. Pricing for the current season is shown at checkout. Children in Pre-K and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Ticket Delivery & Entry
Your order confirmation, including your QR code, is displayed on screen immediately after checkout and is also emailed to the address provided at checkout — one QR code covers every ticket in your order. If you do not receive your confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact us at info@gvscholarship.org. Your QR code must be presented (on a phone or printed) at the gate for entry. If you can't locate your ticket, gate staff can look up your order by the name or email used at checkout.
Gio Cup Refund Policy
Tournament dates are subject to change. This policy applies to refunds issued due to cancellation of tournament play by the Foundation (for example, due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances) — it does not apply to refund requests for personal scheduling conflicts.
- If the entire tournament is canceled: all ticket holders (single-day and tournament pass) receive a full refund to their original payment method, processed within 30 days of the originally scheduled event date. No action is required on your part.
- If one or more days are canceled, but not the full tournament: single-day ticket holders for a canceled day receive a full refund for that ticket. Tournament pass holders receive a refund proportional to the number of canceled days (the pass price divided evenly across the tournament's days, multiplied by the days canceled). Both are processed within 30 days of the originally scheduled event date, with no action required on your part.
- If a day is rescheduled rather than canceled, your ticket remains valid for the new date and is not automatically refunded. If you can't attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund through our Contact page.
All other refund requests — including personal scheduling conflicts — may be submitted through our Contact page and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the Foundation's discretion.
Event Rules & Restrictions
Attendees must abide by the host school's policies and any additional rules set by the Gio Cup organizers. Drugs, alcohol, weapons, and other prohibited items are strictly forbidden on event premises. Attendees causing security concerns, harassing or intimidating players, officials, coaches, event staff, or other fans, or repeatedly failing to follow event rules may have their admission privileges revoked and be asked to leave the venue without a refund. The Foundation reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly or who fails to comply with these Terms.
Photography & Recording
By attending the Gio Cup, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded for promotional, educational, or security purposes. Commercial photography or recording is prohibited without prior written consent from the Foundation.
Liability & Medical Services
Attendees assume all risks incidental to the event, including the risk of lost, stolen, or damaged property, personal injury, or death. The Foundation, its partners, and the host venue are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from attendance at the event. Medical personnel and athletic trainers are the responsibility of each participating school. The Foundation does not provide on-site medical services to attendees or student-athletes; all insurance and medical coverage is provided by and through the participating schools.
Additional Event Information
Only valid tickets will be accepted. Proceeds, after costs, benefit the Foundation. By purchasing a ticket or attending the Gio Cup, you agree to comply with these Terms and acknowledge that you are subject to both school policies and applicable state and local laws.
Donations
Tax Deductibility
The Giovanni Vitrano Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in Florida (EIN: 88-0553712). Donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult a certified public accountant or tax professional to confirm deductibility for your specific situation. The Foundation provides donation receipts for tax purposes.
One-Time Donations
A one-time donation is a single charge to your payment method at the time you make it.
Recurring Donations (Foundation Membership)
Recurring donors, referred to as "Members," give on an ongoing basis at a cadence and amount they select (monthly, quarterly, or annually). By enrolling, you authorize the Foundation, through our payment processor Square, to automatically charge your saved payment method on that cadence until you pause or cancel. You can manage your recurring donation at any time by signing in to your account — pausing, resuming, changing your amount or cadence, updating or removing your saved payment method, or canceling entirely.
Canceling stops future charges but does not refund the donation for the billing cycle already in progress at the time you cancel. If a charge fails and cannot be processed after repeated attempts, your recurring donation may be automatically deactivated; you may reactivate it at any time from your account. The tax deductibility and refund provisions described above for one-time donations apply equally to recurring donations.
If you were a recurring donor on the Foundation's prior giving platform (WooCommerce), we may email you a one-time invitation link to continue your support through this platform instead. That link signs you in directly, without a password, and is intended only for you — please don't forward it. It expires after a period of time for security; if it has expired, we'll send you a fresh one.
Donation Refunds
Donations are generally final and non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at info@gvscholarship.org or through our Contact page with your specific circumstances. The Foundation reserves the right to deduct processing fees already incurred when issuing a refund.
Payment & Data Security
All payments on this website are processed securely through Square. Your card details are encrypted and tokenized by Square at the time of entry and never pass through or get stored on the Foundation's servers.
Email Communications
By making a donation, purchasing a ticket, or submitting a scholarship application through this website, you consent to having your name and email address stored in our email marketing platform, MailerLite, for marketing and communication purposes from the Foundation. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in any email you receive from us.
Scholarship Applications
The Giovanni Vitrano Foundation scholarship application is a separate process with its own account creation and its own terms, presented to you as part of that application. The Email Communications section above still applies to scholarship applicants.
