The Giovanni Vitrano Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the 1st annual Giovanni Vitrano Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to 3 soccer athletes in the Big Bend area who demonstrate the perseverance and dedication it takes to be truly great, not just as a player but as a person. The winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship with both runner-ups receiving $1,000 each to help further their education.
Applicants must be a resident of Tallahassee, FL, or Thomasville, GA, and surrounding counties. This area includes Leon, Gadsden, Wakulla, Jefferson, Jackson, Taylor, Lafayette, Suwannee, and Hamilton counties in Florida and Seminole, Miller, Decatur, Grady, Thomas, Brooks, Lowndes, Lanier, and Echols counties in Georgia.

The scholarship window will be open through May 1, 2022. Winners will be announced May 31st and be honored at an awards ceremony in early June.
