March 1, 2022 – WTXL, Tallahassee’s ABC affiliate, features the Giovanni Vitrano Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was established after an outpouring of support from his friends, family, and community raised over $29,000 in funds for the scholarship. The scholarship, beginning in 2022, will offer $7,000 in prizes annually, with $5,000 for first place and two runners up for $1,000. Applications are open through May 1, 2022, and winners will be announced on May 29.
